Im joining this year. I was curious. which kayak is awarded to the winner. And is there any prizes for second place or 3rd place?

The specific type of kayak usually changes from year to year so that depends.  There are prizes for 2nd and 3rd places, which are usually pretty nice, like a new sonar or higher-end paddle.  I believe last year there was a prize for each of the top ten.  Check out the bottom of the rules page currently on the AOTY page.  Next year's prize format will likely be similar to this years.
