My name is Jim Franklin.  I have a Tarpon 120, and my wife has a Tarpon 100.  We use them mainly for fly fishing in lakes for trout.  I am 68 years old, and I am retired from Oregon State University.  I haven't gotten up enough courage to try Ocean fishing.  I will soon be getting an Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 angler kayak, since my grandson will soon be old enough go fishing with us.  Some of my other hobbies are traditional archery, hunting, and metal detecting.

Welcome to the group.  Nice to see there are some other older...oops, "more experienced" kayakers to help keep the youngsters in line. lol!
