Hi my name is Zack and I'm from forest grove Oregon.

I'm new to the kayaking world and looking forward to getting a kayak. I'm wanting to try all types of fishing, from ocean to the lakes. I'm already a avid fisherman and spend a lot of time in the ocean chasing tuna and other bottom fish. I'm looking forward to getting a boat and getting together with some of you so you can help me out and show me the ropes in the ocean. Thanks

Welcome aboard Zack! Every year I do a bunch work at Hagg Lake in May and June. Maybe you will have your boat by then and we can get out on the water and get some trout or smallmouth bass.

Welcome to the group.  There is plenty of advice available here and plenty ready to give it.  Try before you buy and take some time to familiarize yourself with what is available in the current market.  YouTube is a good resource nad kayak fishing forums have loads of information.  There are several publications available with Buyer's Guides and articles relating to kayak fising.  There is also a lot of hype so beware.  Good luck.
