The show "Factory Made" on Discovery has a segment on the making of fishing poles.It's the last segment, i think.

Saw a similar episode on "How It's Made" with "Thomas and Thomas" fly rod construction. Gotta love TIVO ;D

Not having cable or satellite tv does seem to have it's disadvantages.  Maybe I can get this on DVD someday, sounds like a cool show.

Thanks Z.  I should have thought to look towards youtube.  Anyway, I've been watching a lot of cable (Battlestar Galactica mostly) on hulu.com and netflix, but this show doesn't seem to be on those yet.
