My Kokatat Supernova suit needs some serious repairs. Both wrist gaskets are torn and the neck gasket is stretched out too much. While removing the cart in the water at the launch, my arms filled with water. It was a great way to start my day.
I noticed later in the day that the booties were slowly leaking too.
This is for anyone that has sent in their Kokatat suit for repairs under warranty:
How much should I  expect to pay for the repairs?
How long should I expect to be without my suit?

With tournaments quickly coming up, I don't want to worry about my suit not getting done in time.

They get it back in a few weeks, go to their website and call or email to get a return authorization number.  They give you a price prior to doing the work.

Sweet, thanks Lee. I suppose I should wash the suit before I send it in. It's getting a little gamey.

Kokatat customer service is awesome. Just call them. I think when I had mine gone over the turn around time was 3-4 weeks. I just told them I needed it for an event and they got tot back to me in 2. I had put a two inch tear in the leg and I think it was about  50 bucks all in. I'd check to see if those issues were covered under warranty.

If it's covered under warranty, they will just take care of it.  They are awesome.

Isn't that what winter was for, sending in your suit for a tune up?  8)

I sent mine in last year to patch pin holes and replace the neck gasket.  It cost me a little over $80.  It came back with close to 75 little patches in it.  I blame the sturgeon scutes.  My left leg had 27 patches alone.  Anyways, the writs gaskets are easy to replace.  I have never done a neck gasket.  http://kokatat.com/media/pdfs/KokatatAnkleWrist.pdf

Sweet, I'll look into replacing the wrist gaskets myself if it will save me some cash. I have a feeling that I'm going to have a lot more pin holes after my sturgeon trip on Saturday.

$42 for socks, $33.50 for neck and wrist. 3 days for service plus shipping https://www.kayakacademy.com/

They will do all the patching and replacement just as Kokatat would... Perhaps even better? Since they are a servicing dealer, they will take care of any warranty with them also.

That is where I bought the dry suit. It didn't even occur to me to send it to them.
