last week spent some time up in Idaho for work...but can't go on a roa dtrip like that without finding some way to get some fishing in.  managed to bag two pike with a buddy from work...but wow was it cold.

Pike-cicle anyone?  the fish below was the bigger of the two we caught.  it froze solid in an hour out of the water.

Haha...that second pic is hilarious. I've always wanted to go ice fishing. And catch a pike.

I don't know the area all that well.  I was only visiting and my buddy from work was the one with all the local knowledge on the good fishing spots.  one of the fisheries he did talk about that spiked my interested was the landlocked Chinook in the Coeur d'alene lake - I thought that would be fun to go after.
