Started at possession point looking for lingers. Trolled swim baits around for a little while. Bam my rod came unglued, sweet headshaking like a typical ling, but the fight was a little different. Get it up and see a big fat old head and huge fins. Cabezon.  Not the biggest but decent size. Tossed him back, didn't feel like dealing with it.  Continued for awhile no fish biting. Let's pack it up head to double bluff. I had a bunch of.spots marked from Tuesdays adventure. We got there and caught fish all day. I was using anchovie colored point Wilson dart all day. Biggest surprise yet about to happen. I feel a mighty tug on the line, then I set hook. Line.starts peeling, then 180 comes right to the boat and.surface. What the.heck. Here surfaces a king about 15 lbs. What a bad ass surprise. Released unharmed with one bad no justice photo. We stayed on fish. Rockfish numbers through the.roof. Only.one floater. Got.a red irish lord. Ratfish and 4 lings one keeper. Awesome day.and alot.more spots on my.navionics.

Sounds like a fun time.  Thanks for the report.  But, what the hell is that smiley-faced alien - is that the ratfish?
