Newbie first post

Hello!
I just recently found this site and decided to register right away!  I live in Vancouver Wa and am an avid fisherwoman who's been fishing for 45 years.  Also worked on fishing ships in Alaska for nearly 20 years.  Anyway, in my older age I got fat so I decided that I needed a good motivator to loose the weight and that was to have a dream of fishing in the salt for bottomfish in a kayak!  It's a goal that would be wonderful to achieve as I love to eat bottomfish.  So I can't contribute much as I've never owned a kayak but I'm sure excited to read about your adventures and learn about this great sport!
