Looking for a long range sot to primarily fish out of and secondarily free dive, tour, and camp out of. Maybe a couple multi day trips a year. I was thinking the ws tarpon 160 was the way to go but may try the 14 footer cause I found one used. Budget is a big factor. Am also considering a 15ft ocean kayak. Any thoughts?

16' or longer if you can find it. Storage for a multi-day trip is critical. Remember everything expands by 25 to 35 % when you pack up in the field.

The Trident 15 is an excellent boat! Lots of hull capacity and can hold A LOT of weight.

I Freedive and camp out of my Trident 15.  Bought it originally just as a freedive spearfishing platform, but am getting back into the rod&reel game.    Fast, stable boat that can handle quite a bit of weight.  I've been doing 10mi afternoon cruises the last few days getting my shoulders back, would have not problem taking this boat on a multi-day trip.  I can do 5-day mtn goat hunts out of an 85ltr pack with room for meat on the way out.  Could easily pack that on a trident.
