Good move and good choice. That's one stable fishing platform right there.

Great yak! I got mine last year just in time for the pinks.  Got a sail just for fun. Live  in Edmonds looking for a partner for safety reasons.  Caught 24 salmon between Edmonds and Shipwreck.  I will be in the yellow PA14.  Be safe!

Going to Lake Ballinger this Tuesday 5/6 to sail in my PA to start this year off slow.  Get the kids off to school - stop by work and then Big Five for my 2014 fishing license. Load my kayak into SUV and be out on the lake by 11:00 AM
Anybody interested in watching how easy the set up is can stop by.  I will be in the bright yellow kayak. Last year they were catching trout off the dock. I'm not that crazy about planted trout, but I'll drag a fly just in case there is no wind.

Ballinger wind died down at 1:00 so I took out my fly pole and caught three trout.  It was a fun start for bing out this year.  Will be going out again - may have to get a wet or dry suit for the Sound.
