Perhaps some species specific boards, or geographic area specific boards.  There seems to be very few Eastern Washington folks, and much of the Washington board is fishing salt.  It could just be that there are not that many folks on the east-side, but I know Kayaks are selling here, and I am seeing more out on the lakes.  It may be a good way to start hooking up with a growing community that is somewhat outside the lines right now.
When in doubt, throw a line out!

Personally, I like the idea of species specific boards (or child boards) and we might be able to add some child boards for more specific subregions.

For species specific boards, I'm guessing we wouldn't have a board (or child board) for each species, rather we might split it up as follows

Saltwater
   Groundfish (rockfish, lingcod)
   Halibut
   Salmon
   Other
Freshwater
   Salmon
   Sturgeon
   Trout & Kokanee
   Bass
   Panfish
   Catfish
   Other

If there is enough interest I'm sure we can work something out.
