building on the thread of SFHarry and after finding these at Fred Meyer, got a Small 14L for $12 to try under the 8" hatches in our 2012 Oasis.

First I removed the hatch, then trimmed the tub at the top line, too tall.  trimmed it to the second line on 2 sides and third line on the other 2 sides, inserted so the taller edges were front and back, shorter edges on the sides, reinstalled the hatch, done deal.  Big volume for storage under the hatch, planning to add one to the aft hatch on the Oasis and also the aft hatch on my PA12...cheers, roger

does it slide around or come out easy?  It would be a nice place to store lunch! :)

it is not going to move at all, the inside attachment ring for the hatch fit perfectly inside the top of the trimmed TugTrug which is firmly sandwiched between the bottom hull and the top.  Removing the TubTrug would be easiest if you first removed the hatch.  With the hatch in place it is not going anywhere.

just under the 8" hatch, the Trug has 11" diameter, it is 8" to the bottom, and the bottom diameter is 9.5".  so this is providing a nice storage volume under that Hobie hatch.  I just realized the Oasis has 3- the center also has 8" depth but the very back hatch only 6"...I have not checked the depth under the PA12 aft hatch yet, it is under that large flat area behind the seat and might even allow for a larger bucket to be popped in...

PA12 aft hatch is a no go, the hull comes up under and there isn't enough depth.
PA12 front is also a no go, the rod holder tubs come up the side, none of the TubTrugs will work.
