I was wondering what to tip a kayak fishing guide taking out two different clients for a day.  How much per client? I did a search and couldn't find anything.

I'd view like any other guide service, or any other commonly tipped service.  A really good time (not measured by number/size of fish caught) and professional behavior warrants a 15-20% tip.  Less for poorer service, more if you feel the guide earned it.  It would take a fairly disasterous trip that could have been prevented to warrent no tip at all.  Mediocre service would be worth 5-10%.

Those are based off the total of the fees.  If you pay for both you and your buddy then you should give the tip.  If you split the fee 50/50 then you give a tip you feel is appropriate and your buddy does the same.  The quantities don't have to be the same.

IMHO.
