I-5 south to Salem parkway and follow the signs to Lincoln city.

It's 17 miles more than the Newberg route on US-99 to OR-18.
You will make better time going the Salem route.willbd

What time of day? I'd probably hit hwy 99 West to OR-18 if you are going to be on the west side of town.

That's the route I took the last time - allows one to avoid the Sherwood/Newberg/Dundee mess.

If you are going thru Salem do not run the yellow light as you turn onto Marion street bridge onto OR-22. It's a red light camera and it will get you!

If I were going to PC, that is what I would do, but if you go through Tillamook to Depoe, you are going a long ways out of the way.  If I were you, Rev, go thru Salem. It's not the most direct, but it is a quicker way. There are not many stop lights and my experience is they are timed well.  I go the Newberg way, but I am not going that way at a busy time and it is much shorter for me.
