PC Friday 7/18

 Is there a correct way to go out at PC? Do kayaks have to use the Dory side? Also is hugging the cape easier than going out of the surf? Is there a good site with easy to read surf conditions? I've been out there once before with my NRS Pike inflatable, but I'm taking my new OK Trident this time for a maiden surf trip this Fri.

Here's what I look at but it's not the only one out there.

Out on the dory side is best.
Hugging the cape is sometimes good.  You should be able to figure the best path out by looking.
Give the dories plenty of room (i.e. don't launch while they are going out or coming in)
The dory boat captains also appreciate it if you have a high flying safety flag on your kayak.

The forecasts change daily right up till go time. But there usually real close as far as I have found.
