Launch areas for nisqually reach.

I'm looking to try to fish the nisqually reach area by the bell buoy, but I don't know a good spot to launch other than off of Johnson point. Are there any other good launches that are closer to that buoy?  I saw tolmie state park is kinda near there, but not sure if that's a good spot.

Luhr landing is fairly close.  If the tides are right you can shortcut across the flats in a kayak.

+1 on Luhr, but watch the tides. On a good minus tide you'll be stranded until it floods enough to paddle back up the creek. If you have a DOD sticker, Solo Point is another good launch. Go with the flood to the Nis, and with the ebb back to the point.

Check the tides, check the tides, check the tides! I haven't been tuck yet but I was close and last week when I was out there (I launched at a +1 low tide) there was a boat stuck trying to get back in. He had to wait for the tide to come back.
It is hard coming back in at lower tide because you can loose track of the creek and be doing the booty scoot to get off the mud.

Ok great thanks for the help. I'm thinking of launching at just before high tide and getting back 2 hours before low.  It's changing from 9 ft to 6 by low tide. You guys think this will work or am I gonna get stuck?

6' low is hardly a "low tide". You'll be fine. Watch out for any minus tides. When you see those -1's or better you'd be stranded until the flood for sure.
