I know there will be a few other spearos at ORC, so if anyone is interested in a Sunday morning dive, I'd be up for it.  Seems like a great area for diving and filling up the cooler even more.

sucks that I'm not in shape and don't have the right gear for this. sounds like it would be fun. however,  i'll be at the orc and would like to hear about how it's done on this side of the pacific.

I would love to, but need to get back to WA at a decent hour. There's some great structure less than 20' where I picked up a few ling over 30" plus cabs over 25" (hook and line). Current/ocean conditions depending, it could be fantastic spearing!! Just make sure to fly a dive flag. Plenty of boat traffic there.

Bump.  Planning on launching at a reasonable hour Sunday morn, like 8:30 in case anyone wants to join, or just see how it's done from your kayak.  I'd be happy to teach anyone.  It's just going to be a mellow dive session close in, depending on conditions.  Also, look me up at  chinook bend if you have questions.  I'll have a white pickup with a lumber rack on top and an MSA logo on the side.

Vis has been poor with lots of upwelling. Well see what it looks like tomorrow I'm hoping it's not brown as it's been a month sense I was last in the water :(
