Hate to admit it..........but I'm starting to make a "list" myself. "Damhik"...

Time is getting small...decisions to be made......" do  I really need all this "stuff"?

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

I'm just packing for this weekend.  Since it's a bottom fish trip it's mostly the same as what I'll take to ORC.

During any given season, I'm always packed and ready to go on 20 minutes notice.

Mark,

My porcupine will have three quills on it this ORC... Well, four if you count the flag.

Fred "True" Trujillo

I'll have 5 rod/reels plus a flag and maybe a net sticking up. But it's for two people so that's only like 2.5 rods each. :)

I'm trying to get out this weekend so no meaningful packing will happen until after that. I always have a list at the ready, though. I'm hoping with my trailer it will be an easy haul.

That's really odd. How the heck did that happen?

Was it over tightened, or just a bad U-bolt?

Better to take care of the tires before they really do some damage.

If you haven't already done so, you may want to take a look at the wheel bearings on the trailer while you are at it.
It's a long drive for you, and I'd hate to hear you had a bearing fail along the way bro.  Cheap insurance.   8)

I was actually doing some work to the trailer that required me removing the u-bolts, while trying to remove them the nut just sheared off. I got lucky and found a u-bolt kit at a local trailer parts store. Replaced both sides. Trailer is good to go.
