ORC Octopus Beatdown

Catching an octopus on my barbie rod was one of the highlights of the ORC for me.  Getting it to the boat was easy, but the 15 minutes of trying to figure out to do with it was F'n hilarious.  Here is my favorite part of the struggle.  I can post the whole video too if folks want to see it too.

   The "Fist of Fury " lives. Glad to see you using that whacker instead of your hand. And yes please. more video. They always crack me up cause you are having such fun times.

I heard over the radio that you have to turn their heads inside-out in order to kill them. How does that process actually get accomplished?

Stabbing them between the eyes will kill them, flipping the hood just pisses them off if not already dead. Flipping the hood allows for quick cleaning.

Cool catch! What did you catch it on?

I caught him on standard jigging gear.  I think he went for one of my flies which in this case was a DOA Shrimp.
