Thanks for sharing; looked a little sloshy for sure. At first I didn't get the Peanuts reference, until the music started.

The Fil cameo at the end was a nice touch as well.
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

Awesome! That's gotta be the first time a Vince Guaraldi tune's been made soundtrack to a fishing video.

If you don't mind me asking - any tips on picking up coho in that area? Salmon fishing out of westport tomorrow morning on a PB w/ a relatively inexperienced captn, and itching to try Ocean Shores on the yak sometime in the next two weeks.

Head north once you're past the bar until your off the coast of Ocean Shores. Target 90-115 FOW, and run the set up pictured as follows:

10" from #1 diver to flasher (I prefer Konezone), 48" leader with a herring helmet to get better spin. Then troll about 3mph 35 ft behind the boat, which equals about 16 pulls of line. I've been using green label herring brined in green Mike's Bright and Tight.

If you have a hard time finding fish, just look for the charters. They were right next to us both times we were out.

Hopefully you get into fish! There's a lot to be had out there! We'll likely be going again Sunday morn

Awesome! Really, really appreciate the advice.

We'd planned on staying really close-by anyways, as it's his "shake-down" trip.

Funny - the only bait I have, and will bring, is two dozen green label herring i've been brining in...yup....mike's green bright n tight, and just yesterday picked up a few echip protroll helmets. Great minds and what not.... ;)

Looks like Sunday might be really, really snotty. Keep an eye on the forecast (obviously).

Thanks again and tight lines!

I started using that stuff about 2 years ago and love it! You can add salt to stiffen it up a bit more too. Watch the spin on that helmet. I started with an FBR that spun my bait too tight. People around me were catching, but nothing for me. I switched to that helmet in the pic for a more open roll and a bit of tail flop which was killing it! That was both times in the last week.

Sunday isn't set in stone yet. Watching forecasts tomorrow to finalize.
