Howdy!
I've been fishing from canoes for a few years but just purchased my first kayak for my solo outings. I moved from Texas last July and have been hitting Beaver Lake and Pine Lake in Sammamish fairly frequently, mostly pulling perch with my 3 year old daughter.

Equipment: Emotion Stealth Angler 11 and a Coleman 13' RamX Canoe
Targeting: Perch, Bass, Trout....would love to figure out Salmon

Cheers

Hey Ttate!
Any suggestions on launch spots for Lake Sammamish? The state park is close by, but the crowds are crazy in the summer and it's far enough from parking to need a cart, of which I am still lacking. I inquired about the boat launch for car toppers and was told if I touch the cement or rocks surrounding it I owe $7. :-\

I need to finish up my canoe/kayak cart and hit the big lake!
Cheers!

You do need a cart for sammamish they do
Check the boat launch and I was told the same
Thing even if i carried the kayak to the ramp
The state park is the only launch on the south side
Good trout area There is a park on eastlake sammamish
Near Redmond you will need a cart for that
One as well but it does get you away from all
the jet skis and wake boards. Fishing is good
Lots of boat docks and Lillie pads for bass
The snoqalmiy river is very floatable as well
By fall city gets steelhead and salmon
