Landing large fish

Just got a ride 135 a few months ago,
Caught lots of trout  bass and perch in lake sammamish
but it's almost chinook time . My concern is can a chinook
Tip a kayak over as they hit your lure when the rod is in the holder
How about pulling it out of the water is there a safe way to do it
To remain upright

Unless you are already extremely unstable,  no.

First fish is a Chinook,  second is a coho.   

And just because, this is about 85 pounds of angry halibut.

A fish will not push you into the water... Unless it is a whale and you are fishing with unbreakable leaders. especially in a ride 135.

Here's a screen shot from a video of a 8ft sturgeon I caught last sat.I straddled the yak and got it turned upside down and unhooked next to the boat but sadly no pics of that.

People have been landing very large things from kayaks much less stable than ours for a very long time.
