Fishing was slow this weekend. I had four takedowns saturday, landed one, lost one at the boat. Only heard of one other caught. Sunday was worse.  Heard of one caught.  I fished for a few hours without a bite.  I trolled a hering with diver and flasher.

Hey, at least you caught a nice fish!  Nice job.  Where did you fish from?

Stayed at chinook bend, stayed within a few miles of the campground.

Those fish should be in great shape being there in the lower part of the river.  That looks like some fun!  Well Done.

Nice. It makes me hopeful for our trip there this week. Didn't get a touch last weekend although the fish were in there.

Thanks for the fish report and the nice pic!  I'm hoping to kayak fish the Siletz for my first time tomorrow meeting up with some other NWKA folks.  YAY.  catching is optional.
