depoe bay....8/22-8/23

have plans to get outta here thursday eve, fishing fri/sat/maybe sunday morning too. for bottom dwellers, should be at ramp by 6 each day if anyone is interested. all depends now on the bar reports til then, if open each day til thursday when i leave it`s a go. any good forecasters out there? i am not, if bar is open i go, that entails my forecasting abilities.

Why aren't you heading down for AOTD?? It's only three more hours!

if i wake up and bar is closed at d.b. i might get pissed enuf and drive down there.....

i suck at forecast for the ocean at this point....anyone thats any good with it know what it`s looking like at d.b.  or sunset area this weekend?

Here's where I look and rule of paddle is (if I get this right) the height of the swell is more then half the distance apart don't go ie 3ft every 8 seconds ok, 3 ft every 5 seconds not ok. Me personally over 6 ft I'm not going, and never solo haven't been at it long enough to paddle the ocean alone.

It's still a bit far out to know for sure but it looks borderline. Give it another couple more days. You'll have a great time at sunset regardless of the forecast. Plus there isn't a bar to worry about. If I was allowed to go I'd make that drive in heartbeat!

You should just plan on going to Sunset

am outta here!!!!!!! sorry won`t be able to drive another 3 hours to tourney at sunset, it`s all i can do just to make it to d.b. this time, i wish u all big fish and tons of fun though, calm seas to all. will be at ramp at d.b. by 6 tomarrow/sat/and sunday....possible now monday too.
