Finally bought my new kayak a few weeks ago; I’m pleased with stability and the design, but there are some problems I may detail in another post, at a later time (‘nuf said)… for now I'll say I’m working with Old Town; I’ll let you know how that goes.

I borrowed a page from the Hobie owner’s forum, with help from you folks and created PVC bunks. I thought I’d use a scupper cart then realized nearly everywhere I intend to launch has a ramp. Of course I’ve kept the scupper cart for those places without the launch ramp.
BTW:
Spacing on the PVC tubes for the Predator 13 is 15 1/2 inches apart; right under the scupper holes.
The Malone fixtures are a perfect match for the Uni-Strut, the conversion was very easy. Even the Malone U-Bolts worked

If there are questions from the photos, do not hesitate to ask. And yes, there is lots more to do in the future… I’ve got a list.

I'm make a more detailed post about a few of the changes in a week or two.

Looks really good.  Nice clean layout you have there.

Looks like you have some room between the fender and kayak bunk to maybe add a tube for rod storage during transport.   8)

Pretty neat boats. I really like duck hunting from mine a lot. Couple things to watch for are; the plastic caps on the seat tube end caps like to pop off. A little JB Weld will keep them nice and tight though. Also, the hardware in the paddle keepers, and the 4 screws in the stern handle (for rudder compatibility) were all barely finger tight in both Predator I've had seat time in.
