I am thinking of going out tomorrow for salmon and was wondering if anyone knows
which place would be better for kayak fishing. I'm going to try and anchor for the first time
so I don't want to be around other boaters and still want to have a chance to catch something.

If anyone want to tag along tomorrow you are more then welcome to.

Any other advice would be much appreciated. I am new to salmon fishing and hope to catch one
this year.  :)

Thank You.

I would hit up Chinook Landing before Rooster Rock this time of year.  Where did you end up going?  How did your anchor work?

Chinook was hot yesterday, but completely dead today. I'm hoping you hit up Rooster Rock or higher.

I heard that the dam is seeing a high number of fish moving through. Check out Rockfish's post... and try not drooling on the keyboard.

My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

Unfortunately I ended up not going out. Woke up sunday morning not feeling to good.
Going to try and go out this weekend. Probably going to try Chinook Landing and just
move away from everybody.
