Special Recognition and Gratitude

On behalf of the NWKA family and the Heroes On the Water organization I want to say how grateful we all are for the tremendous effort that was put forth to save Roland's life last Thursday. It's never easy to lose such a great father/brother/cousin/friend, but we can take away the solace in knowing that when every single second counted none were wasted. That crew that was launching with Roland and those on the beach instantly jumped into action when they realized he was in trouble and worked their ass off until first responders arrived.

If I ever found myself in a shit pickle I would thank my lucky stars above to have the same crew attending to me. If you happen to bump into these folks give them a hug.

To Rich, Jack, Lee, Marie, Colleen and everybody else who gave their all that day on the beach thank you so very very much. We love you guys.
