Just received my orders to my next duty station, it would seem I am heading to Germany in December.  lots of things to sort out still but important stuff first- do any of you all have experience fishing in Germany or any of Europe for that matter?

Good luck over there! I got nothing on Germany but this might not be a bad spot to start. At least they speak English.

Fished the Rhine once. I got skunked; but I did pick up some really cool flies from the one tackle shop I ever saw over there.
Most people I ran into didn't fish and it was more of an elitist thing. I was told that to get onto productive water you had to belong to a club that is by invite only. A lot of the golf courses were like that as well.

I'm sure you'll figure out something. You're going to love it!
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.
