I bought a pair of the 60lb grips a few weeks ago, and freaking love them so far!! The scale is spot on, and with diligent rinsing and lubing they should last a lifetime! For my full write up and more pics, visit my Facebook page.

Yup! I'll second that! Teddy makes a helluva product and stands by it.

Those look great. That flotation you added is perfect.

After reading your endorsement, I bought a pair of Lucid grips, too.  Teddy answered my pre-purchase question while he was out of the country, fishing, for pity's sake!

They shipped immediately and got here in three days, and I'm more than happy with the price and with their quality.

Thanks for the tip.

Does anyone know how accurate the scale is?? I could not find this info on the web page.
Assume you need or have access to a "tournament rated scale for weigh ins".

You'd be better off with a digital scale for tournaments.

Thanks Lee...that was my thought too.

After playing with both the 30 & 60# grips, I can say it's spot on. However...the 60# works best at over 20# of weight. The 30# grips are far better for weighing our average catches. You can send them in to be IGFA certified too! That should say something about accuracy!

I have the 60lb version.  I don't claim my free-weight weights are certified, but as a simple test, the 5lb weights read at 5lbs, the 10's at 10 and the 20's at 20.

DISCLAIMER: I don't tournament fish these days and was a lot more interested in the grip part than the scale part.  If any scale should happen to tell me I've caught a 20lb fish when it's only 18 pounds, I don't care; I'm having a Very Good Day.
