Hello,

I am new to the forum. I have been a whitewater kayaker for ten years, and fishing out of my inflatable kayaks for the last two years.

Tomorrow I plan to buy my first dedicated fishing kayak (either a Cuda 14 or a Moken 14), and use it to go pull my crab pots. Looking forward to it!

Kyle

No crab today, but not a bad day to get out on the water.

Welcome!

I just paid 9.99 per pound for live dungeons here in Alaska.  Go get those yummy $20 bills!!!  lol.

Thanks. I had all the gear and a plan for where it would go already because I almost bought one last year. Still waiting on the cart to arrive though.

I have had a pretty slow winter for crab. In three trips I have only scored one keeper. Luckily I have about two dozen in the freezer still from the summer, so there will be plenty of crab cakes over the holidays.

I am getting excited for the blackmouth season to open in a couple weeks!
