Thanks, I'd rather be fishing, but I set a goal to finish this weekend.  This will actually help in the long run because I can get one boat out of the chicken coop and the other out of the basement.  Making some points with my wife, that should help balance out all the fishing.

Finished!  I'll probably store the kayaks upside down throughout the winter, but wanted to check it out first right side up.  OK time to think about going fishing in the near future.

Ya did a good job Waterman. That looks strong and convenient for your needs. I'm sure your chickens are thankful. I hope security is not too much of an issue in your neighborhood. Guess you could always enclose the walls later if needed.
  Again--- looks good.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Thanks guys!  Yeah, even though I'm at the far end of a dead end street, I'm thinking I should get a long cable and lock.  I'll do a search, but would welcome any input on a favorite brand/type.

Just ordered this cable lock.  It should do the trick, and it got good reviews.
