Portland Boat Show

As I'm new to the sport of kayak fishing, looking at buying my 1st kayak, I thought about heading over to the Portland Boat show at the Expo Center tomorrow. Does anyone know if they have much in the way of kayaks, I took a look at the exhibitor list, didn't see much in the way of kayak mgs listed, nor the local kayak shops. Any thoughts from those of you that have been there in years past?

Yes! Next Adventure is at the show! Hall E, booth 354 I believe. My boat is there all rigged up and there are plenty of helpful people from Next there to talk to. If you're considering buying a new kayak, there are coupons at the booth you will definitely want to grab. Come hang out! I'll be at the both today to talk kayak fishing from about 4pm until maybe 8 or so. I'll also be there most of the day on Saturday and ndogg will be there all day Sunday.

As an FYI for everyone, if you can't make it to this show or miss chatting with the fishing team members this weekend, the PNW Sportsman's Show is going to be from the 4th through the 8th of Feb in the same set of buildings. The Sportsman's show is a bit bigger of a production than The Boat Show is. Next Adventure will have a great booth there too and members the NA Fishing Team will be there for pretty much every day of that show.

rawkfish - will you be there tomorrow? I'm planning on heading over to your paddle shop out on scappose bay next week to try out some of the kayaks in your rental fleet.

I may swing by the show tomorrow on my way home from work but if I'm not there others should be able to answer your questions. I believe the new kayak fishing manager for Next Adventure, CJ, will be there. The guys from the Scappose Bay location will be there too so you can talk with them about setting up a demo.
