My score remains 0 fish.  Got out on the water at 4:00 am; launched at south end of Magnolia (just would rather not fish around a lot of other power boats); some of those fish must come down the east side of the sound and thought to intercept them before the Alki crowd could take a shot.
Anyway, launching in the dark is fun and I did see lots of bait, looked to be candlefish- skinny, about 3-31/2".  Problem seemed to be tide-- I launched at 4am and a 10' runout from 12:30 am was right in the middle of change--not the best fishing conditions.  Played hide and seek with a harbor seal most of the morning but gave up on the fishing once the sun hit the water.  Will try again next weekend.  Good luck to us all.
Kallitype, saw your post on Elliott Bay map (good info) --think I'll try Todd or the West waterway next.
