No kayak after 7 weeks

Middle of April I order prowler big game 2 from a shop here on the coast. All I've been hearing is it's being made and on it's way. Found out today it's not on the way and they can't get them. So after waiting 7 weeks. I'm back to square one. So I called Austin Kayaks. They had it in stock and shipping today. Called up to Out door play and ordered 2 bending branches angler ace plus. One for my wife. Used my 15 percent and saved $ 74.00. So hopefully in a week I'll be back on the water.

It's kind of sad but sometimes dealing with the big places does yield a better result. I'm glad you're able to figure out a solution. It probably isn't your local shop's fault.

I don't blame the shop. Maybe Ocean had larger orders to fill. And letting the little guy wait.

I want to say austin kayak is on top of my list next time I need anything kayak related I just ordered a pfd from them and it was on my porch in 3 days good coustomer service thank you austin kayak

I ran into a similar problem dealing with a shop in Astoria.  the kayak took for ever to get, and I had the rudder on back order for over a year.

Found out at 8:30 my kayak would not be delivered. Called Austin at 9:00 ordered it. And received an email at 1:00 saying it's out for delivery. Same with Out door play. Ordered two rod holders at 10:30. Went to the post office to pickup mail and guess what. Two rod holders. And 15% off.
