Howdy Fellow Kayak Anglers,

David Howlett here... otherwise known as YaknDave. I'm one of the newest members of the Johnson Outdoors Premier Pro Staff, and I'm a newbie here on the NWKA website. So far I haven't met too many kayak fisherman in southwest Montana, so I joined NWKA to reach out to fellow boaters.

I fish mainly for Montana game fish from my Old Town Predator MX, and I love it. The photo above was taken while bass fishing in December 2014 in Georgia with my brother YaknDan.

I'm just beginning to outfit my Predator MX to my needs, and I'd enjoy hearing from other Predator owners to see what rigging, outfitting and modifications you've made.

My brother and are working a relatively new website called YakNBros and we also have a YouTube channel. If you're interested, I invite you to to check out the links below:

Welcome to NWKA forum.  I'm a kayak angler from Missoula.  There are a few kayak anglers in the area, but not too many.  This forum provides a good way to make contact with other kayakers, and to exchange information about fishing.  Check out the postings in the Montana and Idaho sections of the forum.
