Hi,
I am stationed in San Diego, where I initially got into kayak fishing. Was born and raised in Soldotna, Alaska. So I am looking up contacts and networking back home.

Welcome!!! There are probably ten or so folks on this board active from Alaska. Tons of kayakers.  More anglers.  But very few Kayak anglers.  very odd.  But still it's awesome.

I grew up in Kenai, currently live in Anchroage and I'd say I spend more than half of my time south of Soldotna.  Tons of opportunity here!  If you haven't already, I have avery simple and basic website up fro Kayak Fishing in Southcentral Alaska.  Nothing like this site.  TONS of great info here.  But my site might be a little more region specific.  AlaskaKayakFisher.com

Let us know how we can help out!!!

Nice to make your acquaintance! Are you heading back our way soon? Kard will want to entice you to chase kings in the winter king derby...  His enthusiasm is infectious.

I was hoping to get up there for the start of the Iditarod and fur rondy, but alas the military has once again adjusted my plans. We will be training at that time. Training that I can't miss unfortunately.  Since they may have to move the Iditarod to fairbanks due to lack of snow, that might not be the worst of things. So the new plan is to come up in June for reds. I've already linked up with Kard on facebook, and reading his exploits. I very much want winter kings lol.

June is a great month.  Reds & halibut will be available  As long as they don't shut the kings down int he upper inlet, there will be feeder kings available too!  Depending on when in June, floating the upper or middle Kenai can be a blast as well!  Let s know when your schedule firms up!!!
