I got one thing to say about this. HUH? ???

I'm not sure if a can have 5,10,20 or 500(I know it's not 500) in Coos and Coquile river.

It's a good thing these are only temporary rules and set to expire at the end of this year unless we have bad conditions again next year.  Then???  Who knows.

I can attempt to explain this if anyone is interested as I was pretty involved in the process and helped extend the Coos fishery.  Essentially coast wide (coastal rivers) beginning tomorrow, the limit is 1 wild chinook per day and 5 per year.  Exceptions are the Coos and Rogue where it is 2/day and 10/year (wild fish).  The part most are having confusion with is that you can continue to angle for a hatchery fish once you've got your wild fish. This will lead to mortalities and could cause further emergency rulemaking.
