Moving to AK in the spring and I am looking for a used suit. Don't care if its ugly or worn down, as long as it works. I am 6'0" 160 lbs.

Thanks!

If you can find a decent Kokatat suit, grab it.  Their customer service is awesome.

Don't know your budget, but a new Kokatat Supernova Angler suit is $515 with typical cupons from a couple site sponsors.  I'd highly recommend that suit if you can swing the cash.

That's what I am hoping for.. but since I don't have the cash, I am hoping someone will have a used one. But who would want tp get rid of it once they got one?!

Yeah, most people keep them until they're worn out.  But occasionally someone will sell theirs becuase they're getting out of kayak fishing, or maybe they've lost a ton of weight and want a smaller suit, or something.  Otherwise you're not too likely to see an individual selling their Kokatat suit.

You're moving to AK soon, but where are you now?  You might want to look up some local-ish shops that rent or demo suits and see if they have any from last year they're selling.  Kayak Academy in Issaquah often does.  The discount isn't as much as I'd hoped for, at least a few years ago when I was buying mine.  I wound up buying new since it was, at the time, such a small premium over the used ones I could find.

"...because they're getting out of kayak fishing"  Now that's just crazy talk right there!

I actually have a spare large kokatat supernova T3 angler addition suit in good shape. I bought a shinny new one because it was a limited addition NWKA/Heroes on the Water suit. I was planning on keeping it as a spare (I try and kayak fish with my dad a couple times a year).  I might be tempted to sell it. What were you hoping to spend on a used one? Feel free to send me a PM.
