Kayak Storage Cart

Custom designed and built this myself. You're not going to find a more sturdy storage system. This holds a total of 4 kayaks. Two hang from straps, which is the correct method for storing most kayaks to prevent hull deformation. The other two storage places are for Hobie Mirage kayaks or for storage. The rack has 4 heavy-dut caster wheels so that it can be rolled easily out of the garage and next to your vehicle.

Nice rack   I never though about adding wheels to my storage rack, but I can see them being very useful. 

I put wheels on mine a while back.  It makes a  great addition and  loading became a lot easier.

Wide straps are better than narrow straps.  Here is how I whomped up wide straps for hanging my kayaks out of 2 inch wide webbing.  I melted the holes for the bolts with a soldering gun.

It's more fun to make it yourself.  But if you want to buy a storage cart, it looks like he's using 2-inch wide webbing to hang the kayaks, which is good.

Couple pieces of plywood on that thing and it can double as a work bench.
