The forecast looks great for some time on the salt over the weekend.  I will be down at Netarts (south of Tillamook) giving the crabs and bottom fish a shot. Anyone else heading west for the next few days?

Good luck, wish I could escape and join you.

Pelagic Paddler,

I've been looking at the forecast as well, although I can't join you Friday I do have the go ahead to escape for Saturday morning.   Are you heading back out saturday morning?

Gatorbait...  Leaving for the coast as we speak.  Taking the computer with me.  Plan to put a weather eye on the surf and if all looks good give it a go early friday.  If the conditions hold and the fish cooperate I will repeat on sat.  This is an exposed beach  (not protected like PC) so a little comfort with surf launches and landings doesn't hurt, but with the forecast it should be no big deal. The fishery is basic bottom fishing with med to heavy salmon type gear about 3/4 to a mile offshore.   Shoot me a pm, and I will let you know the skinny on friday when I get off the water.   Pelagic
