True Life: I'm Addicted To Kayak Fishing

Hey guys, I started a kayak fishing blog at the beginning of the year. I plan to post new stuff every Tuesday. I want to post gear reviews, DIY projects, How-To videos for targeting local species, trip reports and other kayak fishing related things. It's pretty much a diary about my life as a kayak fisherman and how my addiction is affecting my relationships at home, with friends, and at work.

I don't believe you need an account to view my blog. I have friends who don't have Tumblr that have read my articles with no problems.

I took my Revo 16  out yesterday for some bottom fishing with Brownwyesvictim, PNW, JsMccormick and a friend who isn't on the site. Fishing was slow for me but I took a few fish home. I also had some issues with my hull filling with water. The new drain under the seat also had some difficulties.

I was curious about what you discovered with the root cause for water in your hull?  I end up with about a gallon of water in my hull after a day of paddling and I have no idea where the source is for my leak (maybe the hatch cover doesn't seal?? or maybe there is a leak in my stern plug??  Both of those are possibilities, but I need more time on the water to investigate).  I don't have a cool seat drain like your Revo16, but keep us informed about what you discover with the source of your leak.  Thanks.  Barb

I ended up gooping the keel drain shut and that seems to have fixed the problem. A member of the group experienced a similar situation on his first trip out in the Revo16. So I decided to goop the drain!
