Sorry for the late notice, but I though it was already posted.
Tyler Hicks will be giving a Kokanee fishing seminar tonight at 7 PM over at the Next Adventure Paddle Sport Center.  This seminar will focus on outfitting, gear, tackle, lures, and techniques for trolling and jigging for kokanee. This seminar will precede a Lake Merwin kayak kokanee social to be held Sunday morning.

For those of you who have not fished for Kokanee, landlocked sockeye salmon, they are one of the funnest and tastiest  fish around.  They can be a bit finicky, but once you figure them out, catching them can be fast and furious.

Tonight will also be a great time to check out the new kayak fishing section at Next and drink a few wobbly pops with friends.

Thank you to all those that attended the clinic last night.  We hope you enjoyed Tyler's presentation and got a chance to look over the beginning stages of the Kayak Fishing Pro Shop.  It is a work in progress and will be growing so we would love input from the anglers in the area.  Come time for the Chinook Showdown it should have taken a more permanent shape and be even more impressive :)
