Planning  on dragging  the yak down again tomorrow,  and was wondering  if all this rain will dramatically  drop the bays salinity and turn it milky  brown. And if so, will it shut the fishing down? I will launch around 8, paddle over to the pilings and fish through high slack, maybe even tie off if fishing is good, then drift down to the south jetty,  fish if I can drift and fight the tides, beach it and jetty  fish if not. Then paddle out towards jaws right at low slack and try for an hour or so for a Ling  or 2,  then finish off rockfish on the inside jetty till the tide is ripping too much. I've got my own guesses on what the rain will do t OK the bite, really looking  for some first hand experience..?.MOJO Jojo any ideas?  Also, anyone wanting to join me tomorrow  is more than welcome, even if you just want to paddle out at low tide to hit the jetty

Sounds like a day plan as long as the winds die down as they call for but then again the weather man is only half right.i will be north of here on Monday leave som fish for the tournament. And if your not pulling the yak all the way up the top of the beach tie it off good.

Oh I'll definitely drag the yak up aways, but the tide will be going out, so that will help keep my boat up on dry sand. I'm more worried about walking out of site of it to go fish the jetty .....last monday i was surprised by how many people were wandering around over there.  I'll have lots of gear I'd want to leave in the yak and people have very sticky fingers these days....

That's a tough one... If you beach it closer to the channel you could keep eyes on it you would still have to get there from the rocks.... You could always head up towards the ghosts hole and fish for perch off the point then ride the tide out that would kill some time ..the other option is put it on wheels and take it down the path where you plan to fish from the rocks but it's still going to be slightly out of your vision. I haven't fished off the rocks so I'm always in my boat unless I'm beach breakin but im still with it. Just remember the afternoon winds from our last trip out.

Yes I'm curious what the wind will do in the afternoon.  Not supposed  to blow much at all......but it wasn't supposed  to blow last time either. ....:).    Winds supposed  to be outta the east tomorrow,......maybe  if It does blow it will counter the current somewhat and let me  fish the incoming better:)
