Easter Nookie!

 Somehow got a last minute pass to fish Easter morning.....get the hell out of the kitchen is more like it. No time to pick up new herring....time to clean out the freezer.Managed to put together 6 decent older herring....gonna have to do.
 Forgot my favorite (lately ) scent...Mikes Lunker Lotion.....after awhile had a good spin going on a bait,rummaged around in the milk crate found a tiny bit of Procure krill...just enough to fill the cavity. Found myself in a little shallower than usual so when my pole did a gradual bend,figured it was bottom for sure. Pick it up...surprise!
 Great fun....stayed out mostly,but the first time I got it close it cartwheeled all over the place. Somehow stayed hooked, but could see my flasher was pointing the wrong way....braced for the worst. No problem...another jump and things were going the right direction again! Not huge,but alot of fun.

Yeah, love that flasher...Caught quite a few fall fish also.
Got Kones, Als, Shortbus, but gonna use that beat up old thing till its gone, lol.
