NWKA in Sunday's Oregonian

Last Sunday's Oregonian had a story in the Sports section about fishing from kayaks.  The story was titled "Pedal power is a great way to fish".  Not sure what the screen name is of the fisherman in the photo but the salmon he's holding represents us very well.  I like the dog too - only on a PA!

NWKA was referenced - it was a good write up and some positive PR for our sport.  Nothing like a little motivation to go out and and get after it -

This paragraph caught my eye:
"Hobie, with several angler-oriented models already, is coming out with more by 2016, said CJ Siebler of Next Adventure in Portland, the local dealer. Other companies are developing their own versions of the mirage propulsion system, he said."
Anyone have a clue on 2016 Hobies?

Actually i was somewhat misquoted in that i was trying to say that I can personally attest to more fishing specific craft being released for 2016 by other manufactures and that there are certainly other pedal drives the market will see jn the next few years.

But as soon as Hobie has somethin new in works they can share we will post it up!
