I've been looking over the magic seaweed info for thursday - Saturday... I am not particularly thrilled by what I am seeing.  Can anyone knowledgeable comment on the likely conditions with the swell, etc if fishing the strait?  Thanks... My good friend would have called the conditions I'm reading "sketchy"...

Thursday and Friday look awful, but if the wind/swell forecast hold then Saturday is a definite go. The swell might be a bit much for someone prone to seasickness, but if the wind stays down then I'd be comfortable in front of Waadah with that swell.
I was out there in early March under similar conditions, and when the wind picked up I ducked behind Seal Rock and caught a bunch of BRF.
If it holds up I'll probably do the one-day Neah run on Saturday.

Those conditions are doable for the straight side and not pretty for the ocean side. Fortunately they are not forecasting wind yet. We are still a week out so I'd keep watching the forecast. I will be out there but if the conditions don't improve I'll be fishing from a PB instead.

I'm glad to hear that your still around Reverend.
Was hoping that group in Port Angeles was not you or any of your flock.
  A senseless tragedy for sure....
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

That had me worried too. I'm relieved.

From the pictures I have seen of your boat you are definitely going to want to stay inside. The nose of Wada may even be pushing it. If I were you in that boat I would head to the Snow Creek / Seal Rock area and look for as much protection as possible.

Looked kinda small from what I could tell on FB, you should stick to the strait of JDF.

Definitely... It would have to be a flat day to leave the strait in my boat.
