Any one use a Hobie Sport for winter rivers / steelheading w/o the drive?  If so, what's your verdict?  Anyone fit thigh braces to theirs?

This isn't my boat of choice, but have a family member who wants a boat for summer, pleasure peddling, and I'm hoping I could dual-purpose it.
