Hi all,

Mid Willamette Valley kayak fisher here. I picked up a used Jackson Coosa last summer and started learning the ropes. This board was very helpful and reduced the learning curve a bit. So I decided to stop lurking and contribute.

I had a blast on warm water fish last year and I'm looking forward to branching out a bit this summer to explore the tribs for steelhead. I hope to meet up with others who want to do the same.

Welcome. There is a lot of good fishing of all kinds within an hour or so. Lots of salmon moving through right now if you can figure out how to get them to bite.

Thanks C run. When it comes to springers in the tribs I'm definitely the blind squirrel who lucks into the occasional nut. Should be interesting to see how this low water affects the bite.
