We'll hit 300 members sometime soon.  And today we had 48 registered members log on.  That's the most I've seen yet, and that doesn't include guests.

We've had 298 sign up, with 287 actually verifying their account, with the difference still pending verification.  For the 300th member that verifies their account, I'll come up with a nice "prize".  Not sure what that will be yet ... ideas?

-Allen

Contratulation Allen and thanks for providing a support group to all of us yak fishing wacko's!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Are we going to go fight the Persians with Shields and Fishing Poles when we hit 300?

doing my part to recruit.. every chance i get i hand out post it notes sized slips of paper with the sites URL on it... talk it up every chance i get, too.. yesterday was in the Lacey Sportsmans Warehouse picking up some stuff, salesman remembered seeing us @ Drano,  wanted to know more.. seems he has a small fleet ranging from several SInKs up to a 36ft  PB of some type, with several rafts and 'toons in between...

would like to think that that helps grow our membership, hope he took the time to at least come and visit the site.

so, Z, if we do fight the PB's, what is the standard weapon goona be?? 7/8 oz football jig heads with 11 inch curly tails??

Maybe we should just hang around the gas stations and let them know that it costs them $50 in fuel for their boat for the day, while all it costs us is a $5 foot long from Subway.   8)

Would it help if I register again a few times?

Glad to see kayak fishing (or at least this site) starting to gain more interest up here in the Pacific Northwest.

Good thinking BS.  I'm thinking that I should get my wife to watch the numbers clicking up and then register herself.   >:D  I'm just sure I could get her to share that prize.

Great job Allen.  I figure that every time another angler shows up here, the world get just a little more kayak friendly.

If at first you don't succeed....  maybe skydiving is just not for you.

Technicalities, Technicalities ... I gotta change the forum software to reflect registered, validated members, of which there are 289.  Sometimes we get drive bys that sign up, but don't follow up with validation.

The 300th registered member is stonefly.  If you chime in here and tell us a little about yourself, I'll send you something, not sure what yet, but it does involve stickers at the very least.
