Hello Everyone! New newbie here

Hey Everyone! The name is Kyle and I am 20 years old and in College. I get out to fish when I can and I look forward to my first kayak purchase soon, super into Oregon ocean fishing and any help you could offer is appreciated! Happy to be here on NWKA and excited to meet everyone.

The Depoe Bay area, that and Newport is where I usually head, living in Corvallis

Yeah I really like the area, excited to buy a kayak and get out there! gonna be a while though

There is some great fishing around there. The willamette has good largmouth and great smallmouth and ok bullhead if you know where to go. The north and santiams have good coho summer steelhead and spring chinook.

The santiams also have good coastal cutthroat fishing and the lakes are great!

Thanks for the info! I'm actually planning on checking out the Alsea river for winter steelhead.. Ever tried there? I hear it's good
